The Coming Hour of Judgment

What is the purpose of signs? Can you think of an experience or story where signs are disregarded and you had reaped the consequence?

Yes, Allah has placed signs around us to communicate His love and concern for our safety. His greatest sign to mankind is Isa Massih (pbuh). He is coming soon. How soon? He told His disciples the events that would take place prior to his coming. First in the religious world, Isa Al Massih (pbuh) said, "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.... For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect." Matthew 24:4-5, 24.

In the political world, "nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom." Luke 21:10. In the physical world, "there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heavenů. And there will be signs in the sun, n the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectations of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken." Verses 25 and 26.
