What is your typical day or week? Busy? How do you feel when you come home? Is your weekend the same as your typical day?
Many of us find our life to be like a race. We live a fast life-drive fast, work fast, eat fast. The pressure of work is getting heavier as our tasks, activities and responsibilities mount one on top of the other. We try to finish them as soon as possible. But instead of finishing the work as scheduled, it is their work that finishes many men and women. They succumb to the demands of their jobs, and their health simply give way.
To some people, their life may not be a race. It is a burden, a heavy one. Loaded with problems and complexities, they simply drag themselves trying to live one day at a time. They find the future dark and gloomy. As they look back on their past, it is filled with painful experiences. Hence at present they are hurting, full of remorse and guilt. Life is meaningless! It is this group that try to find comfort in drugs, illicit sex, alcohol, and other vices. Oh how they long for a moment of joy and rest.
